  • What Is Remuse?
    Remuse is the first and only digital music app designed for everyone from the beginning student to the professional soloist or chamber musician. With Remuse you can purchase digital copies of your favorite sheet music, instantly view it right on your device, and share it with your friends all around the world.
  • How do I create a Remuse account?
    An account can be created at the Remuse website or in the Remuse app. Just enter your name, email address, and a password to get started.
  • The Remuse app won't install on my device. What do I do?
    The Remuse app can only be installed on an iPad for now. Installation on a phone is not supported, and Android support is coming soon. Make sure that you have enough free space on your iPad before installation. Any sheet music downloaded will use additional space on your iPad.
  • How do I shop for new sheet music for the Remuse app?
    You can find new music on the Remuse website through your browser. Visit remuse.com to browse by instrument or search for specific titles.
  • How do I view sheet music purchased through Remuse?
    Sheet music purchased through Remuse can only be viewed via the Remuse app on your digital device. On the Remuse app you can view your own sheet music as well as the parts that your friends and colleagues have shared with you. To view a piece in your library, enter your own Remuse account email address into the "Share Parts" screen.
  • Can I share music with my friends?
    To share any part in your music library, click the "Share Parts" button underneath the title, then enter the user's email address that is associated with their Remuse account. If they don't already have a Remuse account they will be invited to make one.
  • I need a shared part back. Can I get it back before the expiration date?
    Absolutely. Access your shared music through the Remuse app or website and cancel the loan at any time. From either tap or click the "Share Parts" button underneath the piece you need to cancel a loan for. Tap or click the "Already Shared Parts" tab and tap or click "Cancel Share" next to the part you need back.
  • I'm having trouble downloading my music to my device. What do I do?
    Make sure you have enough free space on your device, and that you have an internet connection. If your parts will not download make sure that the part you're trying to download has been shared with you.
  • My iPad is getting full. How can I manage the music on my device?
    To remove any music you own from your device, select "Share Parts" for the piece, tap the "Already Shared Parts" tab, and cancel the part loan you want to remove.
  • Why do I have to enter my credit card information every time I purchase something?
    To better protect your credit card and other personal information, Remuse doesn't store any of this on our servers.
  • Can I add my own markings to my music?
    When viewing your music in the Remuse app, tap on the "pencil and paper" icon in the top-right corner. From there you can add markings in a variety of colors. The change the size tap the size up or down icons, or to remove a marking, select it and tap the "X" icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Why isn't my Bluetooth pedal working?
    First make sure that Bluetooth is turned on in your device settings, and that your page turning pedal is turned on. If your pedal is not already paired with your iPad, do so by following the instructions that came with your pedal. Once the pedal is paired you can use it without any extra setup within the Remuse app. Simply tap the right pedal to advance the music and the left pedal to go back.
  • I'm a composer or publisher and would love to see my music on the Remuse app. How can I make my music available on Remuse?
